ISSUES affecting IT systems at GP practices across Craven are continuing for a second day.
A warning was put out yesterday (Tuesday) when there were also some reports of verbal abuse towards staff.
An issue with national network providers means some patients are finding it difficult to contact their GP practice over the telephone and online.
A spokesperson for the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership said yesterday: "There have been reports of verbal abuse towards GP staff, this issue is out of their control and we believe that no member of staff should have to work in fear.
"Thank you for treating staff with respect. If anyone has any issues contacting their GP and needs urgent care, please contact 111 online or over the phone and let them know you’re unable to reach your practice.
"People should continue to attend planned appointments."
It had been believed that the issues had been resolved yesterday, but a spokesperson said today practices were experiencing a 'second day of disruption'.
