AIREBOROUGH Civic Society will welcome Yorkshire chocolatier, Sarah Tomkinson, to speak at its next meeting on Tuesday, February 28, 7.30pm at Rawdon Community Library.
Sarah is a self-confessed chocoholic, so much so that 10 years ago, she started up her own small business in Cleckheaton as a chocolatier. She enjoys building her unique range of new flavours and styles to tempt every pallet including gluten and peanut free ranges. She will be sharing her story on becoming a chocolatier and you can sample and buy some of her tempting products on the evening.
Sarah’s visit is especially good timing with both Mother’s Day and Easter taking place in the next few weeks.
Admission is free for members and non-members £4.
Join ACS on the night for £10 annual membership, which includes five talks alternating with five community meetings.
Other talks in the 2023 programme are: Thursday, April 27: The Miracle of Bird Migration with Linda Jenkinson; Tuesday, June 27: The History of English Canals from 1759 to the present day with Eric Jackson; Tuesday, September 26: The story of Guiseley Wells with Jennifer Kirkby; Tuesday, November 28: Children's favourites from the 1950's with Malcolm Johnson.
