AN exhibition is being presented by the Friends of Ilkley Moor at Ilkley Manor House.
The exhibition, the first of the year at the Manor House which reopens on Saturday, February 25, will focus on the Friends objectives, activities, and completed work.
The charity, which set up in 2008, works with Bradford Council to promote the conservation, protection, and improvement of the physical and natural environment of Ilkley Moor.
It encourages the use of the moor as an open space amenity for education, recreation, and leisure time in the interests of social welfare. Its activities extend from providing volunteer work parties to help maintain and restore footpaths on the Moor to providing guided walks and educational experience days for younger people.
Since its inception the charity has delivered over £350,000 worth of volunteer labour time and raised more than £288,000 in grants and £83,000 in membership fees and donations.
