POLICE investigating a serious assault in Ilkley have charged a 16-year-old male.

The teenager, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, was charged on Wednesday, February 15, with causing grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to the incident which occurred at around 10pm in Regent Road, Ilkley on February 10.
The incident resulted in a man receiving serious facial injuries.
He was remanded to appear before Bradford magistrates yesterday (Thursday), where he was further remanded ahead of his next court appearance.
Bradford District CID is continuint inquiries into the incident and would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the town at around the time of the incident.
