A 67-YEAR old walker dislocated his shoulder after falling while out on Ilkley Moor, Ilkley, yesterday (Thursday).
A spokesperson for the Grassington based Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) said: "Local team members were quickly on scene and provided casualty care whilst awaiting the ambulance crew.
"Once pain was under control the team packaged the gentleman, lifted him carefully on to the team stretcher and then carried him down to the waiting ambulance - where he was then transported to hospital.
"We wish the casualty a very speedy recovery and hope he’s back out enjoying walks again very soon."
