ILKLEY REAL Food Market is set to return to The Grove this weekend.
Stallholders will be selling their delicious goods from 10 am – 3 pm in Ilkley town centre on Sunday 3 August.
The Real Food Market, which first started in 2006 holds monthly events in Ilkley and Harrogate and is a CIC (Community Interest Company) which runs for the benefit of the community – with the aim of offering a space to local charities and community groups.
The market features a wide range of local and speciality producers offering food, drink and crafts and was set up to be a community hub for towns, promoting speciality producers and talent.
Their website states that ‘although the majority of our stalls food and drink, you will also find local makers and producers too. Stalls range from fresh bread, organic fruit and veg, cheese, salads, cakes, pizza, seafood and sauces, to candles, soaps, wooden crafts, jewellery and art.’
Local traders at the market include Addingham Fruit Liqueurs, The Gourmet Scotch Egg Co, Ilkley Brewery, Ilkley Kitchen, Irakuri Sushi and Wharfedale Fine Cheese.
If you feel you may have a few hours to spare on market day and would like to help, volunteers can contact the market organisers on their website: www.realfoodmarkets.co.uk/our-friends/
