AN Ilkley man has been fined after stealing meat worth £143.91 from the town's M&S.
Michael Christopher Seed, 33, of Collyer View, Leeds Road, Ilkley, appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on Friday, May 6, charged with theft from a shop.
The offence occurred on April 11, 2022 at M&S's Station Plaza store in Ilkley.
He pleaded guilty and was fined £80, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
No separate penalty was imposed for a charge of commission of a further offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge.
