AN Ilkley motorist has been banned from driving for 12 months after pleading guilty to driving whilst under the influence of cocaine.
Kevin Daniel Airey, 40, of Moor Road, Burley Woodhead, Ilkley, appeared at Skipton Magistrates' Court on Friday, May 6, charged with driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug in his blood.
The offence occurred on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Skipton, when he drove a motor vehicle, namely a Range Rover on Snaygill Industrial Estate, Keighley Road, Skipton, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely cocaine, in his blood exceeded the specified limit.
Airey was fined £207, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
He was disqualified from driving or obtaining a driving licence for 12 month.
