THE Ilkley Camera Club annual open colour print competition was held on Friday February 4.
The judge was Roger Poyser of the Bishopthorpe Camera Club.
Roger Poyser, who is an experienced judge, said he had really enjoyed looking through the 33 print submissions and commended all the entrants on the high standard of their work.
He said that while he aims to be as objective as possible in the end it comes down to the personal preferences of the judge.
The photographers coming in the top three places were: in third place, ‘Tidal Flow, Lofoten’ by Katrina Brayshaw; in second place, ‘Romance’ by Anne Chamberlain; and in first place, Larry James with, ‘You keep im talking I’ll get the matches!’
