BURLEY Library has two author visits in February.
The first, on Tuesday, February 15 at 2 pm, is from prolific local author Colin Speakman who will be talking about his latest book 'Yorkshire: Ancient Nation, Future Province'. Colin is a walker, poet and writer. He is best known for his many popular walking and outdoor books about Yorkshire, including The Dales Way. Tea/coffee/biscuits will be served after the event on a donation basis and Colin will have copies of his new book available to purchase.
Then, during half term, Jenna Drury will be visiting with her book 'Cloud Tales' on Tuesday, February 22 from 11 am to noon. This event will include some audience participation and is suitable for families with children aged from about four to nine years.
Both events are free of charge but numbers are limited. For more information and booking please go to the Burley Library website www.burleylibrary.org, search for the events on Eventbrite or contact the library direct on 01943 863714.
