ILKLEY Freemason Andrew Wellock has presented a cheque to Penny Robinson of The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The donation follows a lively and informative presentation of the work undertaken by JDRF at the Ilkley Freemasons Hall on Cunliffe Road, Ilkley.
JDRF is the leading non profit organisation working to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, a life changing auto immune disorder with no known cure.
JDRF funds Type 1 Diabetes research, provides a broad array of community and activist services to the T1D population and actively advocates for regulation favourable to medical research and approval of new and improved treatment modalities.
