THE new homes division of estate agency firm, Dacre, Son and Hartley has released another development for sale, consisting of ten luxurious apartments in Ilkley.

Following the launch earlier this month, six of the apartments have already sold at Limegarth, on Kings Road. The development is immediately adjacent to Heathcote, the Grade I listed mansion designed by renowned Arts and Crafts architect, Edwin Lutyens.

The four remaining homes consist of a pair of ground floor apartments and two third floor penthouses. Each of the apartments has two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms in the master suites, south facing terraces and large open plan kitchen, dining and living areas. One of the ground floor apartments and one of the penthouses also have study rooms.

The scheme is being developed by YorPlace and Square Feet – a development partnership that has created several other developments in the local area. These include the transformation of the Grade I listed Burley House and conversion of The Malt Shovel, both in Burley-in-Wharfedale as well as nine new homes at Darley near Harrogate.

Patrick McCutcheon, head of residential at Dacre, Son & Hartley, said: “Limegarth is one of the finest apartment developments ever constructed in Ilkley and the demand that we’ve already generated is testament to this, so it’s unlikely the four remaining homes will be available for long.

“All the apartments benefit from large living areas and a spectacular finish in a quiet and highly sought-after part of Ilkley that is only a few minutes’ walk from The Grove. The development is being built using attractive local stone under a natural blue slate roof and the detail in every home is second to none.

“The Clarity Arts designed kitchens, complete with Lusso Carrara Quartz work surfaces and Siemens appliances are a standout feature, along with bathrooms from Villeroy and Boch with Hansgrohe fittings. There will also be underfloor heating with split zoning to all rooms, recessed white LED spotlights throughout and a secure video entry system, which all adds to the development’s appeal.”

Dacre, Son & Hartley’s Land and Development team initially negotiated the off-market sale of the Ilkley development site, and the scheme is scheduled to complete in spring 2022. The four remaining apartments at Limegarth are priced between £535,000 and £725,000.
