AS CORONAVIRUS restrictions begin to ease pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes across Ilkley and Otley are looking forward to opening their doors again next week.

After a turbulent year for the industry amid the pandemic, outdoor hospitality can re-open from Monday, as part of the Government's roadmap out of lockdown.

There have been no changes to social contact rules as of yet, and outdoor gatherings must still be limited to six people or two households, but the new rules will give many something to look forward to.

Getting back to some sense of normality will be a big deal for the hospitality industry and below you can see some businesses in Wharfedale which are expected to re-open on Monday, making full use of their beer gardens and outside space on Monday, April 12.
