THE FIRST batch of a fundraising calendar featuring shots of Wharfedale has sold out.
The venture is a first for local photographers Sharon Kenyon and Steve Davey, who have produced greetings cards for the past three years in support of good causes.
Proceeds from their calendar, which includes shots of dramatic ruins, wildlife, mountains and the Chevin Cross, will go to Hug on a Tray - an Otley-based initiative that provides drinks and treats for Haematology patients at St James’ Hospital, Leeds.
Mr Davey announced the news that the first run of calendars had sold out on social media this week.
He said: “Can’t believe we sold all 200 calendars in a week!
“We are re-ordering so please let me know if you’d like one reserved.”
The calendars cost £5 each. For more details visit the Otley - The Community We Live In Facebook page.
