AIREDALE Hospital has announced a further death from a coronavirus-related illness bringing the total to 101.
The patient, who had tested positive for the virus died on May 25.
The total number of casualties in the Bradford District now stands at 296, with 193 dying at Bradford Royal Infirmary and two at Bradford District Care Trust.
A statement from NHS England today said: "A further 183 people, who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 26,049.
"Patients were aged between 43 and 101 years old and two of the 183 patients (aged 81 and 91) had no known underlying health condition.
"Their families have been informed."
