ANOTHER patient at Airedale Hospital who tested positive for coronavirus has died, bringing the number of fatalities so far to 97.
A statement from NHS England today said: "A further 174 people, who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 24,913.
"Patients were aged between seven and 102 years old. Six of the 174 patients (aged between 45 and 90) had no known underlying health condition.
"Their families have been informed."
A further two patients who tested positive for the virus have also died at Bradford Royal Infirmary, bringing the total there to 185 and the total to the Bradford district at 284.
Airedale Hospital has been asked for an update on the number of patients with coronavirus who have been successfully treated and discharged.
