IT IS unfortunate that Mr Pentelow (Letters 15 January – Waste Disposal) did not read my earlier letter properly. Had he done so, he would know that my issue is not with Leeds City Council in isolation, but with a system which allows local authorities in general to perpetuate unnecessary cost and inefficiency by restricting access to their sites.
I am pleased to report that Philip Davies MP, amongst others, has indicated agreement with my sentiments and is to raise the matter with both Bradford and Leeds Councils.
