MEMBERS of the Burley Bridge Association (BBA) are arranging a coffee morning on Saturday, January 17, in the Parish Rooms, Station Road, Burley-in-Wharfedale. The event starts at around 9.30am and runs for around two hours.
Anyone is invited to come along to this pleasant venue and hear of the latest stage in the Association’s campaign for a safe crossing of the river at Burley. The planning application for a footbridge has already been approved by Harrogate council and a meeting is due in February when councillors at Bradford will take a decision. At the coffee morning items of home baking and preserves will be available as well as good quality second hand goods. Anyone is invited to contribute, perhaps with unwanted Christmas presents.
Peter Young
Secretary, Burley Bridge Association
