Three youngsters from Burley-in-Wharfedale are about to get an early shot at TV stardom in a BBC period drama.
Triplets Josie, Scarlett and Grace will appear on screens over the next few weeks in BBC2 gangster family epic Peaky Blinders, set in post-First World War Birmingham.
They each took turns at playing the role of character Ada Shelby’s baby and took part in filming on the set in Leeds.
Their mum Sarah Ramsden, 27, says TV productions often look for identical twins or triplets for roles, as it means babies only need to take short turns on set, even when longer scenes are being filmed.
She saw the role advertised through twins and multiple births charity, Tamba.
“We were there for just over a week and we were really well looked after,” she said.
Sarah and her husband, Matthew, were on set or in a nearby room while filming was taking place.
The girls, now 15 months, were born prematurely last summer and spent five weeks in hospital. Because they looked younger than some children their age, they were ideal for the role of younger babies.
