The Box Tree Restaurant in Ilkley has retained its highly-coveted Michelin star for the 10th year.
The announcement was made ahead of publication of the 2014 Michelin Guide.
The Box Tree is one of five restaurants in Yorkshire to be awarded a Michelin star, but the only one in West Yorkshire.
Simon Gueller and wife Rena, who own and manage the restaurant, are delighted.
Simon said: “We work just as hard every year to ensure our standards are maintained.
“It’s been a great year for the restaurant and for our fantastic team.”
Simon, who is executive chef, has personally held a Michelin star for 14 years.
The restaurant is celebrating its 53rd birthday and enjoys continued success with Box Tree events at Harewood House and Denton Hall, Ilkley.
No other county outside London boasts more Michelin-starred restaurants than Yorkshire.
Gary Verity, of Welcome to Yorkshire, said: “It’s fantastic for our county to once again be recognised as a national leader in fine dining.
“We’ve known how good food is in Yorkshire for a long time so it’s nice to have Michelin acknowledge it too.”
