Children in one year group at an Ilkley school are making history by following in their parents’ footsteps.
For the first time, the independent Moorfield School, on Ben Rhydding Road, has seven children of former pupils in one form.
Catherine Douglas, whose daughter, Lucy, now attends Moorfield, said: “It’s wonderful to have our children at Moorfield. Teaching methods have radically changed over the last 25 years. Our children’s school experience is more exciting than it was in our day but the traditional values of courtesy and kindness are still as important as ever.”
Moorfield’s Headmistress, Jessica Crossley, welcomes any Moorfield past pupils or prospective parents to the school.
