British Transport Police were called to Menston Railway Station yesterday, Wednesday, at 6.50am after reports of a suicidal male at the station.
Four officers attended but the man left before they arrived. Officers searched the area but there was no trace of him.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “At the moment we are viewing CCTV to see if we can identify the male and would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time and who did see a man in a distressed state to contact us on 0800 405040.”
There was no disruption to services.
