A 23-year-old man was seriously injured in a two-car crash in Ilkley on Monday.
The accident happened at around 7.15pm on Cowpasture Road, on the Ilkley side of the junction with Maxwell Road.
A silver Vauxhall Corsa, driven by the 23-year-old in a downhill direction and a black Volvo V50 travelling the opposite way collided.
Fire crews from Otley and Rawdon were called to the scene and freed one of the men from his vehicle.
One of the injured men was taken to hospital by air ambulance. This driver, whom police say is local, remains in a serious but stable condition in Leeds General Infirmary.
Any witnesses or anyone with information should contact PC Cox at the Western Area Roads Policing Unit via 101.
