The new community education programme for Prince Henry’s Grammar School kicks off on September 16 and includes a new course in floral art and flower arranging.
As a Specialist Language College, the school presents over 35 courses for all levels in 11 different languages and, running alongside, has a series of hobbies and healthy living courses.
Students can enroll by post or in person, right up to the first week of the courses.
This year, Judy Watker will be teaching floral art.
This will be an opportunity to learn how to arrange more traditional flowers and then move on to the newer floral art arrangements.
Students wishing to enroll in person or discuss which level of course to take can go to the enrolment evenings on Wednesday, September 4, and Thursday, September 5, from 7pm until 8.30pm.
Otherwise, it is possible to enroll by post right up until the courses begin, if there are places available.
Full price courses cost from £49 for ten weeks and concessions are available. To request a brochure, call (01943) 463524 or e-mail info@princehenrys.leeds.sch.uk.
The full brochure and enrolment forms are available to download at princehenrys.co.uk/community.
