Choristers from St Margaret’s Church braved the downpour in Ilkley on Saturday to sing carols for shoppers.
Members of the Queen’s Road church’s adult, junior and teenage choirs sheltered under shop awnings on The Grove to sing for people visiting the town centre. They collected money for charity An Open Door, which is helping an orphanage in Uganda.
Meanwhile Ilkley Grammar School pupils sang for residents at Glen Rosa Nursing Home, Ilkley.
And Bradford Grammar Junior School choir delivered a festive treat to audiences at The Clarke Foley Centre with carols and songs.
