COPE Gary Anthony On 7th September, peacefully at Oakworth Manor Care Home, Gary aged 78 years of Cullingworth. Beloved husband of Karran, much loved dad of Anthony, Joanne, Paul, Rosalie and Mark, loving Grandad, Great Grandad and a dear friend to many. Gary's funeral service will take place on Friday 4th October at St John, The Evangelist Church, Cullingworth at 1.00pm, followed by cremation at Oakworth Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Alzheimers Society. Provision will be available at the service or may be sent C/O Lyndon M Leeson Funeral Directors, The Old Stable, 51 Bridge Street, Oakworth, BD22 7PX. I was so sorry to hear of Gary's passing, it seems such a long time since we all lived on Staveley Road and got to know each other. Jonathan and Anthony trailed about together all over the place, and I still remember when they went to watch Halifax Town with Karen's dad on a Saturday wearing their flat hats. Happy days and happy memories. Gary was a lovely lad and a good friend and neighbour and although it's a very long time since I saw either Gary or Karen you don't forget people like that.
