DAY Ronald (Ronnie) On May 24th peacefully at Craven Nursing Home, Ronnie aged 89, of Skipton, formerly of Stainton Cotes, Coniston Cold. Beloved husband of the late Edna, much loved dad of Helen and son-in-law Jeff and very treasured grandad of Lewis and partner Sophie. Funeral service will take place at St Peter's Church, Coniston Cold on Friday, June 7th at 2pm prior to interment in the churchyard. Donations, in lieu of flowers, for St Peter's Church and Manorlands may be given at the service or c/o Brook Smith's, Bunkers Hill, Skipton.

Sgt Ronnie rest in peace my friend. He would regularly visit our shop and shake my hand which would invariably become a grip strength contest. Sometimes we would spar (I was always worried this would end bad😊🤔). We'll miss you.
