ELLIS James Wilfred "Wilfred" Formerly of Parkway, Steeton, Keighley, sadly passed away peacefully at home in Frome, Somerset on Sunday 10th December 2023, surrounded by his family. He was aged 102 years and a veteran of the 6th Duke of Wellington's Regiment, also based at Keighley, West Yorkshire. Wilfred was a devoted husband, father and loyal friend to many people. Wilfred served as a volunteer at Airedale Hospital for over 15 years and during his working life Wilfred was a printer by profession. Please be aware that his funeral will take place on Tuesday 16th January 2024 at 10:30am at the Steeton Methodist Church All attendees are invited to share refreshments in the Steeton Methodist Church Hall next door to the Steeton Methodist Church from 11 am onwards. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Friends of Airedale Hospital '
