HOLMES Roy 1941-2022 Roy Holmes of Station House, Cowgill, died peacefully on 6th of September 2022 aged 81. Beloved husband of the late Jenny Holmes Born in Batley, a life long caver and volunteer of; Outdoor pursuits, Cave Rescue Organisation, FOSCL Station adopter and Cumbria Police. A proud lefthander, writer of poems and songs and a frequent visitor to Whitby. Roy and Jenny lived life to the full, leaving behind many friends and family around the world. They leave behind their son Tol and daughter Ellen, grandchildren Nick, Jamie and Beth. Roy was also delighted to become a great-grandfather to all the great-grandsons. Funeral to take place at Skipton Crematorium on: Wednesday 21st September 3pm and A Celebration of Roy's Life to follow. Family Flowers only.
