ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
LEAMINGTON TERRACE, ILKLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 595) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas main investigation works proposed to be executed on or near Leamington Terrace intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Leamington Terrace from a point outside No 14 Leamington Terrace to a point to the side of No 111 Leeds Road. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Leamington Terrace (unaffected section), access road between Leamington Terrace to Leamington Road, A65 Leeds Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 24^th October 2016 and remain in force until 29^th October 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 13th day of October 2016
