THE MODIFIED DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE METROPOLITAN COUNTY OF WEST YORKSHIRE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 93 AND NO. 94 (ILKLEY) BETWEEN PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 65 (ILKLEY) OFF HEATHER RISE AND MENSTON OLD LANE AND BETWEEN MENSTON OLD LANE AND BRADFORD ROAD
BURLEY IN WHARFEDALE ILKLEY (MODIFICATION) ORDER 2016
The above Order made on 22nd September 2016, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them the following footpaths:-
1. A Public Footpath as shown by a broken black line with short intervals on the map annexed to the Order commencing at its junction with Public Footpath No. 65 (Ilkley) (off Heather Rise) with two branches to the top of the disused railway embankment, one a trodden route, the other via a flight of steps, proceeding in a south easterly direction to its junction with Menston Old Lane, Burley In Wharfedale, Ilkley.
2. APublic Footpath as shown by a broken black line with short intervals on the map annexed to the Order commencing at its junction with Menston Old Lane proceeding in a generally south easterly direction to its junction with Bradford Road, Burley in Wharfedale, Ilkley.
A copy of the Order and the Order Maps may be seen free of charge at the Customer Services Office, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford; the Ilkley Tourist and Visitor Information Centre, Town Hall, Ilkley during normal office hours and at the Burley Parish Council Office, Queens Hall, Main Street, Burley in Wharfedale on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Copies of the Order and Order Maps may be purchased.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the City Solicitor at the address given below not later than Friday 11th November 2016 quoting reference:- LEG/PCD/SPN/73199 and representors or objectors are requested to state the grounds on which their representation or objection is made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State (or part of it if the authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981) may itself confirm the Order (or that part of the Order). If the Order is submitted to the Secretary ofState for the Environment, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
