ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
RAILWAY ROAD / NELSON ROAD ILKLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 579) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas mains works to be executed on or near Railway Road / Nelson Road Ilkley has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Railway Road / Nelson Road, Ilkley from a point at the Junction of Railway Road and Nelson Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Railway Road (unaffected section), Brook Street, Leeds Road, Little Lane, Mayfield Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on 5th September 2016 and remains in force until 26th September 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 1st day of September 2016
