ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

RAILWAY ROAD / NELSON ROAD ILKLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 579) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas mains works proposed to be executed on or near Railway Road / Nelson Road, Ilkley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Railway Road / Nelson Road, Ilkley from a point at the junction of Railway Road and Nelson Road. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Railway Road (unaffected section), Brook Street, Leeds Road, Little Lane, Mayfield Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th September 2016 and remain in force until 26th September 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 25th day of August 2016
