Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Richard John Reeve has applied to Leeds City Council for the variation of a Premises Licence in respect of premises known as The Cheerful Chilli Barn, East Chevin Road, Otley, LS2I 3DD.The proposed variation is to add 'Off' sales of alcohol to the premises licence.To remove condition 11 of the premises licence which reads "Open bottles and glassware is restricted to dining areas. Storeroom for alcohol kept locked during opening hours." To remove condition 15 of the premises licence which reads "Bottles will be put in bins, next day after 9.00am" and replace with "Bottles will not be placed in any external receptacle after 23.00 hours and 07.00 hours to minimise noise disturbance to neighbouring properties" To amend condition 14 of the premises licence which reads "Noise levels will be monitored to ensure live or recorded music is not audible at nearest noise sensitive premises (Springfield Farm)" to read "Noise levels will be monitored to ensure live or recorded music does not cause a public or statutory nuisance at noise sensitive premises." To add the following conditions to the premises licence - 1. The PLH/DPS will ensure patrons use external areas in a manner which does not cause disburbance to nearby residents and business in the vicinity. 2 The activities of persons using the external areas will be monitored and they will be reminded to have regard to the needs of local residents and to refrain from shouting and anti social behaviour etc when necessary. 3. When regulated entertainment is provided all doors and windows will be closed with the exception of access and egress to and from the premises. Any representations by an interested party or responsible authority regarding the above mentioned application must be received in writing by Leeds City Council, Entertainment Licensing, Civic Hall, Leeds, LS1 lUR no later than 6 September 2016 stating the grounds for objection. The register of Leeds City Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal business hours or on the council's website - www.leeds.gov.uk It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary
conviction for the offence is £5,000.
