ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL DENTON ROAD (DENTON BRIDGE) ILKLEY, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 558) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to enable essential structural maintenance to Denton Bridge proposed to be executed on or near Denton Road (Denton Bridge) Ilkley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Denton Road (Denton Bridge) from its junction with A65 Countances Way for a distance of approximately 70 metres in a northerly direction.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
No alternative route for pedestrians affected by the proposed Order is available.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Denton Road (unaffected section), A65 Leeds Road, New Brook Street, Middleton Avenue and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 25th July 2016 and remain in force until 10th September 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months ifnecessary). DATED this 14th day of July 2016
