ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
WESTVILLE ROAD, ILKLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 537) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to replace gas mains proposed to be executed on or near Westville Road, Ilkley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Westville Road, Ilkley from its junction of A65 Skipton Road to a point outside No.36 Westville Road, Ilkley. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic including affected residents affected by the proposed Order will be available via A65 Skipton Road, B6382 Bolton Bride Lane, Chapel Lane, Kings Road, Westville Road (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th June 2016 and remain in until 20th June 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 26th day of May 2016
