ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
MOOR LANE, BURLEY WOODHEAD, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 524) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to repair a street lighting electrical fault proposed to be executed on or near Moor Lane, Burley Woodhead, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Moor Lane, Burley Woodhead from a point outside No. 1 Moor Lane to a point outside Highfield Lodge.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Moor Road (unaffected section), Moor Lane, Station Road, Main Street, Bradford Road (all Burley), Burley Road, Bradford Road, Bingley Road, Hillings Lane (Menston) and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th May 2016 and remain in force until 10th May 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
