ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL OLD LANE, BEN RHYDDING TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 518) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to provide a new electricity supply proposed to be executed on or near Old Lane, Ben Rhydding intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Old Lane, Ben Rhydding from its junction with Ben Rhydding Road to its junction with Maxwell Street, Ben Rhydding.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Old Lane (unaffected section), Maxwell Road, Constable Road, Ben Rhydding Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th April 2016 and remain in force until 21st April 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 7th day of April 2016
