ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BRODRICK DRIVE, ILKLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 484) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of essential structural maintenance work to be carried out on a defective structure (cattle grid) proposed to be executed on or near Brodrick Drive, Ilkley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed over the cattle grid in Brodrick Drive Ilkley .
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles
or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be
carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times
No alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will
be available
The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th February and remain in force until 28th March 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 28th day of January 2016
