ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
PUBLIC FOOTPATHNO73(ILKLEY) MENSTON TEMPORARYPROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 437) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to repair the bridge which carries the footpath over Mire Beck proposed to be executed on or near Public Footpath No 73 (Ilkley) intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Public Footpath No 73 (Ilkley) from apoint 10 metres east of the bridge over Mire Beck to apoint 10 metres west of the bridge over Mire Beck (including the bridge itself).
PROVIDED THATsuch prohibition shall not extend to pedestrians connected with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of public footpath.
Alternative routes for pedestrian traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Public Footpath No 73 (Ilkley) (unaffected part) Public Footpath No 72 (Ilkley) Buckle Lane Bradford Road Public Footpath No 73 (Ilkley) (unaffected part) and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th February 2014 and remain in force for aperiod of approximately one month (although the closure can remain in force for up to six months if necessary). DATED this 6th day of February 2014
