Dozens of firefighters are tackling a blaze at a historic Highland castle.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said around 40 firefighters are dealing with the flames at Skibo Castle, near Dornoch, Sutherland.
Six fire engines have been sent to the scene along with other appliances including a water carrier.
Police said around 40 guests have been moved to accommodation elsewhere in the grounds and there are no reports of any injuries.
The force said the fire was “contained” by 9.45pm.
An SFRS spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 8.18pm on Monday October 15 to reports of a fire at Skibo Castle in Dornoch, Sutherland.
“Operations Control mobilised a number of resources to the scene, where crews remain in attendance.”
The luxury four-storey building played host to the wedding of Madonna and Guy Ritchie in 2000.
